Note to Self !

Note to self: The red hand on the pedestrian sign while walking across a busy road does not mean for the cars to stop and you to go. Wait for the walking man to light up to safely cross the street.

While walking across a busy road the other day alone I looked at the sign and the red hand was lit up. I had a bright moment and though that meant for me to go and for all the cars to stop. So the red hand was lit up and I thought in my head "why are the cars still going don't they see I need to cross the street and that its my turn to go" so while the red hand was still lit I didn't see anymore cars coming So i thought I better get across while I can since no one is letting me cross even though its my turn. So I walk into the middle of the road and then a red van comes speeding past me! I was like what the heck its my turn to go. So I finished crossing the street after I almost nearly died, and was just furiated. But then a couple minutes later I realized...oops..Theirs a walking man that lights up when I am suppose to go...
