President Hinckley has been the Prophet my whole life! I looked up to him and loved him. One of my favorite things about him is the 9 Be's. I try to live my life by those Be's. He has also built so many temples around the world! That is so wonderful...Now when I'm older I can basically get married anywhere I want! :P I also loved his smile and all his jokes. Yesterday when my aunt called and told me about his passing I felt sad but also very happy. He is with his wife now who he loves so much, and that makes me so glad. Also when I thought about him seeing Heavenly Father and Jesus that made me cry even harder. It must have been so amazing. My family and I went to conference in October which was the last one he will ever do. I feel so blessed to have been able to be in the same room with him. The spirit was so strong. I will miss him terribly but am so happy he is back home. Gordon B. Hinckley said “I am totally in the hands of the Lord.” and we should all follow his example and be in the hands of the lord. He served the Lord his whole time on Earth and has been a wonderful example to people. I will miss him...
